Release Blast: The Art Of Us by Symone West!

Monthly Recap: August

Thank goodness August is finally over. It was way too hot and the whole month was a suckfest of stress. I really struggled this month emotionally as I headed back into school full time. Since Bradley is going back to school I am currently the only one working so it's been extra stressful trying to be safe in this pandemic with numbers rising and students coming back into the buildings. I also was told at the last minute that my favorite school was going to a different psych this year and I'd be getting a new school. So far, I'm liking the new school, but am feeling super lonely and stressed at work trying to learn a whole new school during a time I can't be sitting in with students and staff.

Come Help With Some Science

I know this is a book reviewing platform, but I thought I would take a second and put my psychologist hat on. If anyone wouldn't mind terribly helping with this study my friend is conducting. It's designed to gain further insight into Maternal Well-Being during Gestation. If you are or know anyone who's pregnant I would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about this study.

The DNF Report for July

This year I’ve been seeing a few people doing DNF posts, and I feel like this year has been a year I've definitely been putting books down faster than ever before. In my monthly recaps, I mention books that I read but didn't put reviews up for and so I thought I would just make a post about the books I've been DNFing and why. Hopefully, I can give these lovely books some love even though I didn't necessarily love them myself. This week's post is going to be for the DNF's from June.

Monthly Recap: July

Holy smokes everyone, how in the heck is it already August? I was not prepared for this month to be over so quickly. I spent the first two weeks of this month with my in-laws visiting and the last two weeks recovering from their visit. The husbanator is taking his second summer courses this month so he's been extra busy. I took my sibling-in-law to visit Appalachian State (his dream college) and spent a lot of this month reading. I don't think I've ever read so much.
