Brotherhood. Club. Family.

They live and ride by their own rules.

These are the Raven Riders . . .

Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon rides hard and values loyalty above all else. He’ll do anything to protect the brotherhood of bikers—the only family he’s got—as well as those who can’t defend themselves. So when mistrustful Haven Randall lands on the club’s doorstep scared that she’s being hunted, Dare takes her in, swears to keep her safe, and pushes to learn the secrets overshadowing her pretty smile.

Haven fled from years of abuse at the hands of her criminal father and is suspicious of any man’s promises, including those of the darkly sexy and overwhelmingly intense Ravens’ leader. But as the powerful attraction between them flares to life, Dare pushes her boundaries and tempts her to want things she never thought she could.

The past never dies without a fight, but Dare Kenyon’s never backed down before...
My Review
Haven and her best friend were saved by the Raven Riders after they ran away from her controlling father and were picked up for ransom by a biker club. Haven doesn’t have a lot of experience with life and so when she’s finally free, safe in the compound with the Raven Riders she makes a bucket list. When Dare finds the bucket list and about Haven’s past he wants nothing more than to help Haven complete everything she wants to do on the list.

Haven and Dare were so cute together. They’ve both suffered a lot and carry a lot of scars. Dare lost his family and Haven has been abused and controlled by her father. Haven is very shy and reserved. She doesn’t want to draw attention to herself because of what happened to her when she did. Dare takes everything that ever happens to his MC’s and blames himself. Haven and Dare have an instant connection. They don’t want to be together since Dare has to send Haven away, but neither want to be anywhere else but with each other.

Dare and the Raven Riders use their connections and skills to take care of their community. Dare has seen women who have been abused before and so he does everything he can to take care of Haven and her best friend. I liked Dare and Haven. They both have some major issues and I felt their relationship was a bit rushed in the story, but I felt they would eventually work everything out.

My only real dislike of this story was Haven and Dare’s relationship being rushed. Haven hadn’t had a relationship with a man outside of her one boyfriend and sexual assaults in the past. I felt like the story rushed into the sexual relationship and didn’t give Dare and Haven a real relationship.

Overall I enjoyed Ride Hard. I hope to read the rest of the series! There was a lot of suspense, drama, and sexy times.
