Blurb:
My name is Gwen Frost, and I go to Mythos Academy; a school of myths, magic and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody's head with a sword and Logan Quinn, the hottest Spartan guy in school, also happens to be the deadliest. But lately, things have been weird, even for Mythos. First, mean girl Jasmine Ashton was murdered in the Library of Antiquities. Then, someone stole the Bowl of Tears, a magical artifact that can be used to bring about the second Chaos War. You know, death, destruction and lots of other bad, bad things. Freaky stuff like this goes on all the time at Mythos, but I'm determined to find out who killed Jasmine and why; especially since I should have been the one who died...

My Review:
Touch of Frost where have you been all my life? I have no idea what I just read, but it was amazing. I honestly went and grabbed the pre-quell and the next three books including the novellas. Seriously I have not been wanting to read anything else outside of reading the rest of these books.

Gwen Frost saw a girl at school suffering which leads to her mom dying. After she died Gwen was shipped off to Mythos Academy to learn about her powers and be with people more like her. Only she’s the only Gypsy and has no fighting skills at all. So now Gwen is alone in a new school where the students and faculty believe in the Gods and Goddesses and has no friends. Sounds like a great place to be right? Well, Gwen gets by through using her skills by using her gifts to find objects for her fellow students.

I loved Gwen she gets in so much trouble with her gift, but she never backs down and always tries to do the best she can do. She finds a dead student and is the only one who wants to know what happened to her. I think Gwen grows a lot throughout the story. She doesn’t really believe in the Gods and Goddesses even though she sees amazing things. She’s into comic books and has a major crush on a Spartan warrior who is suuper yummy.

Touch of Frost is amazing. I loved the writing, the characters, and just everything. The book is paced very well. Nothing went by too quickly or too slowly. There isn’t a whole lot of time spent explaining the scenery unnecessarily. I like how everything is explained through Gwen’s eyes like we’re seeing what she’s seeing. I liked how there was a budding romance that I cannot wait to see where it goes. The whole story was amazing and I loved it start to finish.
