Reese's Reviews:
OH MY GOODNESS!! I swear I am not going to throw a tantrum but I seriously want to. For-real!!! Cliffhanger totally a kick in the lady parts!!! Plus I got to read this book waaay early and now I have a longer wait then the rest of the world. *Bursts into tears*. Okay okay I’m better now let’s move on to the review and past my emotional state.

Jackson and Annabelle are an adorable and sexy couple who aren’t without their issues. Jackson is the Sheriff of Beauville and wants Annabelle to move back home and in with him, and he isn’t going to take no for an answer. Annabelle has worked hard for her career and wants to make sure she’s made it before she heads back home. The two of them are known for heated arguments and passionate hot make up sex, lots of it. When everything seems to be working out for them obstacles the size of continents begin rising up and threatening to break them apart. It was so insane with everything that happened. So much happens and yet it didn’t feel overwhelming, just like OMG WHAT ELSE COULD GO WORSE!! It was great.

Annabelle is a great character; she’s sassy, funny quick witted, a southern belle, and a little bit of a diva. I love how she stands up for what she believes in and even when Jackson tries to push her over on stuff she stands firm…some of the time. Annabelle is just an all around amazing, strong and independent woman. She takes care of everyone around her. I just love Annabelle.

Jackson is a total and complete swoon worthy jerk sometimes. First off Jackson is beyond hot, total drool worthy sex machine material. That being said, he can be a complete and total A-hole. He’s insensitive at times, when he doesn’t get what he wants he figures out was to get it and he’s a bit of an overlord on everything. Now I know I just listed a boat load of qualities that sound really unappealing and I’m not going to say Jackson’s sex appeal makes up for him being a troll sometimes, but since we get his POV in this book I now have more insight into who he is and how much he really cares about the people around him even though he comes across as calloused. I think I like him because despite him being rude sometimes he’s realistic and honest. He always says what he means and is always himself so I have to give him credit for that.

To be honest I was nervous to start this book since it seemed like in the novella that it was going to be a insta-love everything is rainbows book. I should have known better. Tigris Eden would never do something so terrible. This amazing author crafted a southern story so well. I loved how amazing this story was, never a dull moment. This story kept me on my toes and at the edge of my seat.

Can’t wait for book two and this book gets extra double points for an interracial couple. If you are into sexy hot scenes you need to get all up in this book. If you’re into books that will keep you on your toes with guessing what will happen next then you need to read this book. If you like characters who have great chemistry, arguments, and great banter then you need to read this book.

One of Tigris’ fondest memories, was in the sixth grade, when her teacher read her story, “The Case of The Missing Pepperoni”, out loud to the class. It was then she decided she wanted to be a writer when she grew up. But like all childhood dreams, reality has a way of crashing in and disrupting plans. But her imagination and the voices inside her head never stopped talking. Every dream she could remember was jotted down in her dream journals.

When she’s not writing Tigris marvel’s at life’s gifts. She likes to take pictures of beautiful things. She openly admits that what she may find beautiful another person might not, and she’s perfectly okay with that. She enjoys her music and doesn’t leave home without it. Long pillow conversations with LL about nonsensical things, and hanging out with her boys, when they deem her “cool enough.”

Tigris is a military brat who’s done her fair share of travelling, thanks to her Army father. She’s married to the infamous LL and has three boys. She currently resides in Houston and is actively seeking a book-buddy for the end of the world.
