Waiting on Wednesday #30

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog posting hosted by Breaking the Spine to show upcoming releases we're excited about. This weeks book is:

Perfect Ruin (The Internment Chronicles #1)
by Lauren DeStefano
Release Date: October 1st, 2013

Book Description:
On Internment, the floating island in the clouds where 16-year-old Morgan Stockhour lives, getting too close to the edge can lead to madness. Even though Morgan's older brother, Lex, was a Jumper, Morgan vows never to end up like him. She tries her best not to mind that her life is orderly and boring, and if she ever wonders about the ground, and why it is forbidden, she takes solace in best friend Pen and her betrothed, Basil.

Then a murder, the first in a generation, rocks the city. With whispers swirling and fear on the wind, Morgan can no longer stop herself from investigating, especially when she meets Judas. He is the boy being blamed for the murder — betrothed to the victim — but Morgan is convinced of his innocence. Secrets lay at the heart of Internment, but nothing can prepare Morgan for what she will find — or who she will lose.

Why I'm Waiting:
I really enjoyed Lauren Destefano's Chemical Garden series with the writing and everything, plus the description sounds super good so I have high hopes for this book as well. Plus this cover is just to die for right?

You're turn it's Wednesday, what amazing book are you waiting on?

  1. I love the cloud island concept, sounds very interesting. Good one.

  2. I've seen this book a few times today. I am really looking forward to checking it out! :)

  3. I can't wait to read this one as well! The cover is beautiful and it sounds quite interesting. Great pick! My WoW.

  4. There are some great works in fiction that are coming out and that are out. I have too many to count waiting in the wings and found another one here! I just finished White Thaw: The Helheim Conspiracy by Paul Mark Tag, and I would recommend that one, a more thriller based read but it was great! Thanks for the review, this one looks good!

I love comments!! Leave them and I promise to love you for ever!!! <3
