Given his well-earned bad boy reputation, Eric is having a tough time scoring.. When single Jean moves to town, she seems heaven sent by the sex gods. Only problem is, she not only wants nothing to do with him, but it turns out that she’s pregnant.
Starting over in a small town, Jean is determined to turn her wild lifestyle around and be the kind of mother she always wished she’d had. Since local bar owner and all round hottie, Eric Collins, is now determined to steer clear of her pregnant self, it should be easy. When she goes into labour during a snow storm and her car slides on some ice, it’s Eric who comes to the rescue.
There seems to be a bond between them now, but is it enough? And can Eric give up his manwhore ways to be the man Jean needs?

Reese's ReviewsI received a copy of this book for an honest review.
Chaser is the first book in the Dive Bar series I have ever read. While this book states it can be read as a stand-alone, I wouldn't recommend it. Some of the aspects of the book just felt confusing because I hadn't read the other books. Anyway, that did not stop me from enjoying Chaser.
Eric has been told he's an unreliable playboy. Now he's trying to show his friends and family that he isn't. I really felt for Eric at times. Other times though I wanted him to get it together. I liked Eric's character though. I felt that during the story he made a lot of growth.
When Eric met Jean, he thought she had a nice butt. Then she turned around. Finding out she was pregnant was a big surprise for Eric. He didn't want anything to do with the pregnant chick, no matter how sexy he found her. I enjoyed how quickly their relationship changed after he helped her have a baby.
Chaser is a very cute story with a lot of character growth and an enjoyable plot. I wouldn't suggest reading as a stand-alone.
