SOMEHOW, SOME WAY by Jennifer Probst

Billionaire Builders, #2.5

Bolivar Randy Heart (aka Brady) knows exactly what he wants next in life: the perfect wife. Raised in a strict traditional family household, he seeks a woman who is sweet, conservative, and eager to settle down. With his well-known protective and dominant streak, he needs a woman to offer him balance in a world where he relishes control.

Too bad the newly hired, gorgeous, rehab addict is blasting through all his preconceptions and wrecking his ideals…one nail at a time…

Charlotte Grayson knows who she is and refuses to apologize. Growing up poor made her appreciate the simple things in life, and her new job at Pierce Brothers Construction is perfect to help her carve out a career in renovating houses. When an opportunity to transform a dilapidated house in a dangerous neighborhood pops up, she goes in full throttle. Unfortunately, she’s forced to work with the firm’s sexy architect who’s driving her crazy with his archaic views on women.

Too bad he’s beginning to tempt her to take a chance on more than just work…one stroke at a time…

Somehow, some way, they need to work together to renovate a house without killing each other…or surrendering to the white-hot chemistry knocking at the front door.

Reese's Review:
Somehow, Some Way was beyond amazing. I discovered Jennifer Probst earlier this year and when I was given the opportunity to read her newest release I jumped on it. This amazing story did not disappoint and I continue to kick myself over not reading her amazing works earlier. Oh well, better late than never.

Charlie (Charlotte) has been dreaming of making her own way proving she can be the best renovator she can be. Buying up a new house with her own money is everything she’s ever wanted. Even though the house is in a not so great area Charlie knows she can take care of herself. That is until her bosses decide she needs someone to help her due to the dangerous surroundings. Sadly, the only person free enough to help Charlie is the one man who can’t stand her, Randy Hart. Randy and Charlie haven’t gotten along since day one and Charlie goes out of her way to annoy him every chance she gets. Of course, this story wouldn’t be perfect without a whole lot of sexual tension and romance.

Randy has always lived life controlled and just so. He wants a wife who he controls and who will stay at home and take care of his babies for them with supper ready on the table when he gets home. The complete opposite of Charlie in every way, which is why he struggles with his attraction to her. Despite Randy needing to control everything seemingly I enjoyed reading about him and getting his perspective. The fact that he’s sweet and funny despite being a huge douche a lot of the time really shows how well Jennifer Probst writes characters.

Charlie was an amazing. I loved her from start to finish. She was so sassy and full of life. I loved her confidence and how much she loved her job. Despite Charlie not being a huge fan of Randy’s wife choices she is so perfect for him since she pushes him so much. I loved this whole story and both Charlie and Randy were hilarious and amazing.

Somehow, Some Way was a perfect story from start to finish. Romance, amazing characters, and an amazing story with depth. Definitely a book to put on your tbr pile!
