From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men books comes the next installment in the Saints of Denver series.
Everyone else in Dixie Carmichael’s life has made falling in love look easy, and now she is ready for her own chance at some of that happily ever after. Which means she’s done pining for the moody, silent former soldier who works with her at the bar that’s become her home away from home. Nope. No more chasing the hot as heck thundercloud of a man and no more waiting for Mr. Right to find her; she’s going hunting for him...even if she knows her heart is stuck on its stupid infatuation with Dash Churchill.Denver has always been just a pit stop for Church on his way back to rural Mississippi. It was supposed to be simple, uneventful, but nothing could have prepared him for the bubbly, bouncy redhead with doe eyes and endless curves. Now he knows it’s time to get out of Denver, fast. For a man used to living in the shadows, the idea of spending his days in the sun is nothing short of terrifying.
When Dixie and Church find themselves caught up in a homecoming overshadowed with lies and danger, Dixie realizes that while falling in love is easy, loving takes a whole lot more work…especially when Mr. Right thinks he’s all wrong for you.

Reese's Review:Jay Crownover has done it again! I swooned, a cried, I may have fanned myself every so often. Riveted was beyond riveting if there is such a word.
Dixie has been in love with Church from almost their first meeting. When he begins looking after her she begins to fall hard and fast for the gruff and rough soldier. When time has gone by and Church remains stoic about their relationship Dixie tries online dating. When date after date goes, wrong Dixie begins to feel like love just isn’t in the cards for her. When Church comes up to her asking for a favor to help him go see his family she can’t refuse. Too bad as soon as they leave problems begin to arise and it seems someone is after Dixie and Church in a bad way.
Church abandoned his family after he lost both his mothers and couldn’t deal with losing anyone else. So, he left and joined the service, joined the most dangerous missions he could so death would make sense. Then after leaving the service he wandered until he landed in Colorado and found Dixie. He didn’t want to fall for her, but she’s so good and sees past all the negative that happens.
Okay so I must say this is by far one of my favorite books by Jay Crownover! One of the aspects about this book that won a whole bunch of points was I LOVE books with interracial couples. Seriously few things beat interracial couples for me. I love them and Riveted was no exception. I loved how Church talked about the struggle of being biracial because for one I can totally relate and Jay wrote his story so realistically. I felt like she plucked out some of my experiences and made them relatable. Church is half-black and half-white and I loved how he fell for a pasty red head because my husband is beyond white and so cute. I guess this whole aspect of the book just made me love Church and Dixie’s story even more.
Church didn’t want to love anyone after what happened to his mother but he grows so much throughout this story. He’s definitely not perfect, but his flaws and really everything about him make him perfect for Dixie. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and sexy alpha male.
Dixie was beyond kick-butt. While she sees, life is the positive in almost every way she kicks major butt in this story. I won’t give anything away, but I will say she’s awesome. I loved Dixie’s character. She always wants to please everyone and take care of everyone. I love how Dixie explained how she sometimes felt like she didn’t get the attention she gives everyone else and that so reminds me of people pleasers. Always caring for others, but people forget to take care of them.
Jay Crownover did an amazing job and making deep amazing and relatable characters. This whole story was amazing and I couldn’t wish for a more perfect story.
“Her hair was always kind of wild and unkempt, but straight from bed it looked like it had taken on a life of its own and was looking towards world domination.” -Church
