Blurb:
When a strange boy tumbles down a river embankment and lands at her feet, seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie Deznee Cross snatches the opportunity to piss off her father by bringing the mysterious hottie with ice blue eyes home.

Except there’s something off with Kale. He wears her shoes in the shower, is overly fascinated with things like DVDs and vases, and acts like she’ll turn to dust if he touches her. It’s not until Dez’s father shows up, wielding a gun and knowing more about Kale than he should, that Dez realizes there’s more to this boy—and her father’s “law firm”—than she realized.

Kale has been a prisoner of Denazen Corporation—an organization devoted to collecting “special” kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons—his entire life. And, oh yeah, his touch? It kills. The two team up with a group of rogue Sixes hellbent on taking down Denazen before they’re caught and her father discovers the biggest secret of all. A secret Dez has spent her life keeping safe.

A secret Kale will kill to protect.
Reese's Review:
Holy wow what is wrong with me for putting this book off for so long. I cannot wait to read the next upcoming books. This book had some of the best lines I’ve read in a long while like “warm for my form” which I am counting down the days to find a way to use it in everyday conversation. It’ll happen I promise you.

Jus Accardo did an awesome job writing this story and the characters in such a realistic way, even though the world has super powered humans in it. I felt for all the characters and they were all believable. Accardo definitely is an amazing author and I totally plan on making her a regular on my reading list.

Deznee is a kick-butt character the kind I love. She’s feisty, smart, determined and a total smart mouth. I really enjoyed reading from her perspective throughout this story. Her life has been hard, with an unloving father and a dead mother. Deznee definitely makes her own rules and plans in this book, especially when she meets Kale and instead of turning him over to the men chasing him, or her father, she runs. Dez does everything she can to help Kale and so much more it’s amazing how kick-but she becomes.

Kale is yum-yum. He has a death touch and so he’s afraid of touching anything. He’s been in captivity his whole life so he’s completely na├»ve to the world. It’s super fun reading about how innocent he is to certain things. Kale and Deznee has an interesting relationship that starts with a bang. I’m super excited to see what happens next. They go so far to keep each other safe it’s really amazing to see.

Touch is fabulous. If you haven’t gathered it already I thought this book was awesome and you so totally need to read it. Jus Accardo is an amazing author so if you haven’t read anything by her yet and you enjoy action-adventure YA love stories with super powered humans, then this book is for you.
