Stacking the Shelves #48

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly blog post hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what books you've bought this past week.

I got to be spoiled and my family took me to this amazing Indie bookstore called Anderson's Bookstore to help me with my ever growing addiction!

From Anderson's

I just HAD to get the collectors edition! I mean what major fan of JLA wouldn't want to put these ginormous books on their shelves? I was super excited they had them! Not Opposition needs to come out!

I definitely want to go see The Fault In Our Stars but I need to read the book first. I have been wanting EON for a long while now so I finally just picked up my copy!
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

E-books:

A Slow Burn by Tigris Eden
Angel Fire (Fallen Angels #1) by Valmore Daniels

From the Library:
Why be the sheep, when you can be the wolf?

Seventeen-year-old Ismae escapes from the brutality of an arranged marriage into the sanctuary of the convent of St. Mortain, where the sisters still serve the gods of old. Here she learns that the god of Death Himself has blessed her with dangerous gifts—and a violent destiny. If she chooses to stay at the convent, she will be trained as an assassin and serve as a handmaiden to Death. To claim her new life, she must destroy the lives of others.

Ismae’s most important assignment takes her straight into the high court of Brittany—where she finds herself woefully under prepared—not only for the deadly games of intrigue and treason, but for the impossible choices she must make. For how can she deliver Death’s vengeance upon a target who, against her will, has stolen her heart?

Stray (Shifters #1) by Rachel Vincent
There are only eight breeding female werecats left . . .
And I'm one of them.
I look like an all-American grad student. But I am a werecat, a shape-shifter, and I live in two worlds.

Despite reservations from my family and my Pride, I escaped the pressure to continue my species and carved out a normal life for myself. Until the night a Stray attacked.

I'd been warned about Strays -- werecats without a Pride, constantly on the lookout for someone like me: attractive, female, and fertile. I fought him off, but then learned two of my fellow tabbies had disappeared.

This brush with danger was all my Pride needed to summon me back . . . for my own protection. Yeah, right. But I'm no meek kitty. I'll take on whatever -- and whoever -- I have to in order to find my friends. Watch out, Strays -- 'cause I got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them . . .
