~ Book Synopsis ~
Tell me your story June....
June thought she had it all. She soon found out how wrong she was. Her dreams of finding the good life were washed away when she was dumped on the sandy beaches of Mexico. Now back in Boise as an overeducated server, she doesn't even know where to begin on fixing her life.
But one thing June does know is the new guy at work is one to stay away from. Reece Day catches June’s attention, even if she doesn’t want it. Reece has the uncanny ability to always get in the last word, to get under June’s skin, making her question what she really wants in life.
June quickly realizes that for the first time in her life, she finally has the chance to find herself.
My Review:I received a copy of Finding June for an honest review.
June after being in a relationship for three years has been dumped. Now she doesn’t know what to do or who to be. She leaves home and comes back a couple months later and tries to figure out her life. It’s there she meets Reece and he helps her realize what life can be.
June is outspoken and says what’s on her mind always. She doesn’t really have a filter. She’s been hurt before and doesn’t know what to do with her life. Most of the book deals with how she’s scared of doing anything because life is so unpredictable.
Reece is really sweet and while he’s been hurt before as well he helps June deal with her fears and they have a more or less happy relationship together.
Finding June is about June finding herself and I think the cover is really accurate for how the turning point in June’s life.
Finding June was a tad slow for me and sometimes I wished for more dialogue but otherwise it was a pretty good read.
When Caitlin isn't writing or reading she usually can be found enjoying the great outdoors with her geologist husband, always looking for the next adventure. She currently resides in Southeastern Idaho.
