Blurb:
Before she goes after the life she’s always wanted, she’s about to find the one she needs.

Pepper has been hopelessly in love with her best friend’s brother, Hunter, for like ever. He’s the key to everything she’s always craved: security, stability, family. But she needs Hunter to notice her as more than just a friend. Even though she’s kissed exactly one guy, she has just the plan to go from novice to rock star in the bedroom—take a few pointers from someone who knows what he’s doing.

Her college roommates have the perfect teacher in mind. But bartender Reece is nothing like the player Pepper expects. Yes, he’s beyond gorgeous, but he’s also dangerous, deep—with a troubled past. Soon what started as lessons in attraction are turning both their worlds around, and showing just what can happen when you go past foreplay and get to what’s real…
My Review:
Pepper has always been in love with Hunter, her best-friends brother. When her besties and roommates suggest before she goes after the newly single Hunter she get some experience Pepper decides to take the leap. What she doesn’t expect is who she runs into.

She runs into Reece. Oh yum what can I say about Reece that won’t sound swoon worthy? Oh right nothing because Reece is de-freaking-licious! Even when he kind of acts like a jerk he always apologizes which I mean come on what isn’t sexy about a guy who can admit when he was wrong? Reece is a bartender, foreplay expert, he’s funny, and he’s got abs! Yup! He works out and has abs! *fans self*

"He hadn't bothered to put his jeans back on. Clad only in his boxer briefs, he was the embodiment of sex. Gold-skinned. Lean and cut. His six-pack was more like an eight-pack. Ridiculous. The tattoo crawling up his arm and down the side of his torso was the cherry on top of it all."

Ok so while I mean you can kind of guess who Pepper ends up with let me just say this book will give you some twists that you most likely won’t expect. Like the stellar ending! Ending is freaking fabulous I’m just saying!

What am I trying to say here since I forgot what I just said….oh ok you NEED to read Foreplay by Sophie Jordan. It’s fantastic! Everything from the story, to the writing, to the characters you just can’t not like this book! I am a huge fan of the NA genre and Foreplay fits into it perfectly!

I feel like this review is really random, oh well. I enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. I’ve read a couple of Sophie Jordan’s other books and fell in love and Foreplay did not disappoint. Ubber fantastic points for Sophie Jordan because she rocks!

Get a copy for yourself and read it. I can almost guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

“I wouldn’t have waited this long for you. I would have already showed up at your dorm the minute I decided I wanted you. I wouldn’t leave until I convinced you that you were mine”

About the Author: Pseudonym: Sharie Kohler

Sophie Jordan took her adolescent daydreaming one step further and penned her first historical romance in the back of her high school Spanish class. This passion led her to pursue a degree in English and History.

A brief stint in law school taught her that case law was not nearly as interesting as literature - teaching English seemed the natural recourse. After several years teaching high school students to love Antigone, Sophie resigned with the birth of her first child and decided it was time to pursue the long-held dream of writing.

In less than three years, her first book, Once Upon A Wedding Night, a 2006 Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Nominee for Best First Historical, hit book shelves. Her second novel, Too Wicked To Tame, released in March 2007 with a bang, landing on the USA Today Bestseller's List.
