Book Description:
Once again Violet Eden faces an impossible choice ... and the consequences are unimaginable.

Now Violet has something Phoenix - the exiled angel who betrayed her - will do anything for, and she has no intention of letting it fall into his hands. The only problem is that he has something she needs too.

Not afraid to raise the stakes, Phoenix seemingly holds all the power, always one step ahead. And when he puts the final pieces of the prophecy together, it doesn't take him long to realize exactly who he needs in order to open the gates of Hell.

With the help of surprising new allies, ancient prophecies are deciphered, a destination set and, after a shattering confrontation with her father, Violet leaves for the islands of Greece without knowing if she will have a home to return to...

Book Trailer:

My Review:
Initial Reaction:
I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book. Entice held a lot of tragedies and I was nervous that Emblaze was going to be all about dealing with the aftermath of that loss.

Plot:
After being given the gift from Judas one of the oldest Exiled Angels on the Earth Violet and her team need to come up with a new plan on how to get the Grigori scripture without giving up theirs. With constant never ending training Violet still knows she isn’t ready to face Phoenix or Lincoln.

The team thinks they have everything they’ll need to retrieve the scripture. When the exchange is made Violet knows something is wrong and is proved correct when she bursts into Hades to find Onyx, Dapper, and two Grigori near death and Steph missing.

When Steph returns with the knowledge of the scripture they once had it’s a race against time. Reaching Greece and going through torturous tasks such as dealing with a succubus, constant Angel warnings, being watched by the head of the Grigori school to have her pulled away, and Phoenix’s evil plans to release the darkest power the Earth has ever known Violet has her work cut out for her.

To top off the problems now Violet’s dad has decided to pay attention to everything Violet does, including grounding her for not being home on time. When Violet leaves for Greece she’s not so sure she’ll have a home at all.

Overall:
Emblaze was amazing. I couldn’t have enjoyed this book more if I’d tried. There was lots of emotional turmoil, great writing, and action. The characters were amazing as usual and I have to say I loved Steph and the other characters a lot more in this book than any of the others. I cannot wait for Endless to come out because Emblaze’s ending definitely leaves you desperate for more

Title & Cover:
Definitely not my favorite title or Cover. I don't really get the title and I thought the cover could have been a little more exciting.
