Beyond the Veil Blog Tour- Author Interview

Hiya everyone this is my first author interview so hope you like it!! Oh and the Magical number is 8.
Beyond the Veil(The Grey Wolves #5) by Quinn Loftis

Overview:
Though the Serbian pack has been brought to heel thanks to the downfall of their Alpha, the war is far from over.
Desdemona, a witch of unfathomable power, has escaped the wolves’ wrath, but she will not go quietly into the night. She takes refuge in a place where even the smallest sliver of light does not dare to enter. Though she had to flee, she has not given up on the treasure she wishes to acquire. Her depravity knows no bounds; she's even willing to search for the one who can assist her in opening a Veil that has not been opened in millennia – with good reason: the danger is incalculable.
Meanwhile, there are major changes rippling through the Romanian Grey wolves. Decebel has become Alpha to the Serbian pack in an effort to begin to unite the Canis lupis species. Their numbers are dwindling in the wake of the shortage of true mates and lack of offspring. The wolves are beginning to lose faith and darkness seems to be crashing in on them from all sides.

Interview Oct Tour Jaime R

Where does the inspiration for your books come from?

Not really sure, other than I really enjoy the YA paranormal genre. I love to create a world where anything is possible and few things are plausible.

What is the hardest part about writing for you?
The first five chapters. It can be very challenging to get in the grove of a story and usually takes about five chapters for me to get on a roll.

Out of all the books you have written which one is your favorite?
Beyond the Veil because I can see how much I have improved and it encourages me to work even harder and get even better.

What do you d when you're not writing?
Read, hang with my husband and son

Did you always want to be the writer?
Yes, but never thought I was good enough

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
How little I knew about punctuation LOL

How would you describe yourself as a writer? Are you a planner or do you just get inspiration and just write?
A little random. I usually do an outline after brainstorming, but usually the story unfolds and writes itself as I go.

Who was the first person to read your very first book?
My mother- in law and my husbands aunt

What's the hardest part about writing a sequel?
Remembering the important details and making it as good if not better than the first one.

Do you listen to music while you write, and if so what song?
Yes, all different songs, all different types

What can readers expect from your new book; Beyond the Veil?
Lots of action, lots of suspense, some WTH moments and a few “Quinn I’m going to kill you “ moments.
There are lots of twists in BTV but we still see our three fav couples and get to watch them grow.

All Blogs participating will have numbers that will be in bold print RED, so make sure you all keep track. At the end of the tour you will need to tally all of the numbers you collected from each site and enter it into our giveaway!
